Dr Sarah Finnegan is an educational psychologist based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. She completed her doctorate in educational, child and adolescent psychology at Queen’s University Belfast in 2016. Sarah worked with the Education Authority in Northern Ireland before moving to the National Educational Psychological Service (NEPS) in Ireland in 2023. Prior to her doctorate, she contributed to the evaluation of an early childhood intervention at University College Dublin’s Geary Institute as part of a multi-disciplinary team before qualifying as a primary school teacher, working primarily with pupils with SEN. Her professional interests include early childhood intervention, staff wellbeing and autism, with a strong commitment to evidence-based, multidisciplinary practice.
