Dr Lise Westaway is an assistant professor at the United Arab Emirates University and holds a PhD in Early Years Mathematics. She has extensive experience teaching both pre-service and in-service early years teachers. Having worked in multilingual educational contexts where students learn in a second or third language, she brings deep insight into the complexities of teaching and learning in diverse linguistic environments.
