Dr Nashwa Ismail is a research associate at the Centre for Higher Education Research and Scholarship (CHERS), Imperial College London, working on Generative AI in higher education. A Fellow of Advance HE (FHEA) with a PhD in Digital Education from the University of Southampton, she is also an active member of ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s Education Technology special interest group and an honorary fellow at Durham University. Her research focuses on Technology-Enhanced Learning, Continuing Professional Development and Games-Based Learning, with international experience spanning Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Myanmar, Thailand and the United States. Nashwa has led capacity-building workshops across the Global South, supporting academics in embedding AI in teaching and research practice.
