Marion van Brederode is a chemistry teacher in secondary education and involved in educational research with a postdoctoral scholarship from the postdoc-VO programme within the Dutch educational knowledge institute NKO. She holds a PhD in the field of biophysics of photosynthesis at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She publishes about critical thinking and creativity in chemistry education.
