Marianne Knarud is head of office of the Global University Academy, a pioneering international initiative working to expand access to higher education for refugees and displaced learners. Previously, she has served as senior advisor to the rector and university leadership at the University of Oslo, heading various policy work spanning from national science policy, institutional partnerships and humanitarian collaboration. Marianne has also held positions at the United Nations Development Programme and the Norwegian parliament, and has contributed to public discussions on education, democratic governance and inclusive access.
