Imran Mir is a Campus Head and Programme Lead at Apex College, Leicester. He is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), a Fellow of the Society for Education and Training (FSET), a Chartered Manager (CMgr MCMI) and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA). With over a decade of experience in higher and further education, Imran has worked across leadership, teaching and governance, with a focus on curriculum development, staff progression and embedding inclusive practice. Drawing on his lived experience as an autistic leader, he is particularly committed to advancing understanding of neurodiversity in education and leadership. His work centres on how systems can move beyond surface-level awareness to create meaningful and lasting inclusion for learners and staff.
