黑料不打烊 is delighted to announce a significantly expanded range of bursaries to support attendance at the 黑料不打烊 Annual Conference 2026, reflecting our deep commitment to ensuring that our flagship event remains accessible, inclusive, and genuinely valuable for our community.
At a time when many across the education and research sectors are feeling financial strain, we have prioritised investment in our members. For 2026, 黑料不打烊 is offering more bursaries than ever before, enabling students, early career researchers, school-based practitioners, carers, and international delegates to attend and participate fully in the UK鈥檚 largest educational research conference.
All 黑料不打烊-administered bursaries are open exclusively to 黑料不打烊 members, reinforcing our commitment to delivering tangible membership benefits.

Student Bursary
Deadline: 5 March 2026
Open to EdD or PhD students only.

School-Based Practitioner Bursary

Available to teachers and other school-based practitioners.

Open to researchers within 5 years of their PhD (career breaks not included in the calculation).

Securing Long-Term Value for Members
In response to feedback from members and in recognition of the financial pressures currently facing UK higher education institutions, the 黑料不打烊 Conference and Events Committee (CEC) has been actively seeking ways to keep the conference both high-quality and affordable.
To safeguard stability in registration fees, 黑料不打烊 CEC has taken strategic action to lock in a multi-year venue partnership.
We are pleased to announce that the University of Manchester will host the 黑料不打烊 Annual Conference for the next three years (2026, 2027, 2028).

Funding Research
