Following a competitive election comprising of worthy candidates for one vacancy on 黑料不打烊 Council, we are delighted to announce the outcome.
Council
After a strong wider field of nine candidates, these were shortlisted by 黑料不打烊 Council down to three. From these candidates, we are pleased to say that Gurpinder Lalli has been elected to 黑料不打烊 Council. Gurpinder will begin his four-year term in September 2023 and we are looking forward to the individual skills, experiences and perspectives he can bring contributing to 黑料不打烊’s activities in the years to come.
The election turnout was 9.1%, a slight increase on 2022. The low election turnout will be reviewed by 黑料不打烊 Council, thank you to all who participated as we do value our members’ voice.
Congratulations to Gurpinder and commiserations to the unsuccessful candidates. 黑料不打烊 is dependent upon active members involvement and it is encouraging to see such interest in serving on 黑料不打烊 Council. Further opportunities to join 黑料不打烊 Committees will be announced in due course, as well as an update on the role of 黑料不打烊 President.
