The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ ECR Network warmly welcome you to attend their ‘Breakfast Session’ at the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Conference 2019. The focus for 2019 will be on ‘Struggles and Successes in the Post-PhD Phase’ and we welcome any PGR or ECR, at whatever stage in their studies or academic career to join us to discuss thein experiences of this critical stage. The session will involve invited speakers sharing reflections on their own experiences and will provide attendees with the opportunity to ask questions as part of a panel discussion between the invited speakers and the ECR Network’s convenors. It is hoped that this session will enable PGRs and ECRs to not only reflect on the challenges they may face during the early stages of their academic careers, but also to reflect on how they might best negotiate these and to identify positive ways forward. Be sure to attend this session to use your voice to share your own experiences and to learn from the experiences of your peers – it promises to be an empowering session, and one not to be missed, despite the early start!
