The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Early Career Researcher (ECR) Network topical session at the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Conference the theme followed the theme of 2022 which was mentoring. As part of the session, Dr Xu and Dr Sandford shared their experiences of mentoring – as both mentees and mentors – providing valuable insights for ECRs as to what makes for an effective mentoring relationship. They provide advice as to how ECRs might go about developing constructive mentoring relationships to support them during (and beyond) their early career phase.
