Person
Dr Joseph Smith is a Lecturer in Education at the University of Stirling. His research interests concern the politics of the history curriculum and teachers’ identities as curriculum makers. He has published in The British Educational Research Journal and The Journal of Curriculum Studies, and is joint-editor of The Scottish Educational Review. Before moving into higher education, he was a history teacher and head of department in a comprehensive school.
