Jamal Lahmar is an experienced university teacher with the School of Education at the University of Sheffield. In addition to a range of teaching and leadership roles over two decades, he has contributed to a range of research projects as a quantitative analyst and consultant alongside his own autoethnographic doctoral research. His research interests centre on metascience, specifically focusing on how researchers grow, self-classify, and assert themselves as epistemic agents, and how this identity formation is shifting within contemporary academia and broader societal discourses.
