Every year ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ awards the John Nisbet Fellowship to people who have made an outstanding contribution to educational research over their career. 

In this episode, Professor Dominic Wyse, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ President interviews Professor Usha Goswami (University of Cambridge) one of the 2020 John Nisbet fellows.

Dominic and Usha discuss her research into children’s cognitive development. A particular focus of Usha’s research is on the relations between phonology and reading, with special reference to rhyme, rhythm and analogy in reading acquisition, and rhyme and rhythm processing in dyslexic and deaf children’s reading.
