The Chartered College of Teaching (CCT) is the professional body for teachers. As an organisation they are dedicated to bridging the gap between practice and research. COVID-19 presented, and continues to present, a range of challenges to schools, their leaders and teachers. Tanya will explore the responses of the CCT to the pandemic, including their report reviewing evidence ‘Education in times of crisis; the potential implications of school closure and global approaches to education’ (May 2020) and the #FutureOfTeaching campaign (July 2020) that will bring together teachers from around the world to look at changes needed for the profession in post-C-19 landscape.
